Internet Explorer Script Error?

Hi, I'm new to this board so if this question has already been answered I would appreciate a link or something.

When I open up Yahoo! Music Jukebox (the current version), I get a script error:

Internet Explorer Script Error

! An error has occurred in the script on this page.

Line: 318

Char: 25

Error: 'System' is null or not an object

Code: 0

URL: http://yme.music.yahoo.com/jose/default....

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

[Yes][No]

I click No and pretty much nothing loads. The basic layout of the Unlimited home page is still there, as are a couple names of artists and songs, but no graphics load. I am unable to search or do anything. If I click on an artist name or something I get another script error and nothing loads. I have reinstalled YME but the same problem persists. I disabled my antivirus and such, but nothing seems to help.

Thanks,

Kevin

You should not be getting a Javascript (JScript in MIcrosoft land) error. You could try saying Yes to continue running the script but that's not really the issue. The script (which comes from a Yahoo Server) has a problem and was stopped and that accounts for the strange format of the page. You might try going to the Launchcast page of YMJ and see if you have a similar problem. I'm wondering if the file from the Yahoo Server was cached (stored) on your computer. You might try under Internet Explorer: click Tools, click Internet Options and under Browsing History, click Settings. Under Newer Versions of Stored pages, check the circle for automatically. You also might want to flush the cache:

Sorry, it's a lot of mumbo jumbo to make sure you will get the latest webpage and JScript from Yahoo. If that doesn't work, then please contact Yahoo to help you resolve the problem. Good luck.

Internet Explorer Script Error?windows movie maker internet explorerI have done all that, and Yahoo tech support is doing nothing for me. They keep telling me to uninstall and reinstall the program, even though it appears to be some coding error.. I have been trying to get this fixed forever. Report It

I tried what you said about going to the Launchcast page, and I get another script error.. Report It
